When you are going to spend the night in the wild, you can choose tents, sleeping bags, tarps, snow caves or shelters. The tent is the most commonly used method because it is easy to erect, rainproof, reusable, and can be erected to any location, windproof and sun-proof, and there is enough space inside for climbers to place equipment. For friends who are new to the outdoors, they should first understand the types of tents and what kind of tents are suitable for our current travel routes.

Alpine tent

The function is mainly reflected in the wind resistance, and the wind resistance is mainly reflected by the bracket. The multi-pole cross structure is mostly used to form the auxiliary force of the rod and the rod to achieve the best wind resistance. Of course, the disadvantage of this structure is that it has excessive weight, so this type of equipment is highly targeted and is generally aimed at professional explorers. Another main function of the alpine tent is to keep warm, but it should be noted that the material of the inner tent should be high-density, breathable fabric, otherwise it is easy to condense or frost.

Four Seasons Tent

As the name suggests, the Four Seasons tent is designed for consumers who are extremely passionate about camping. The difference from the alpine tent is that it may not have strong wind resistance, but it has good ventilation and breathability. Compared with the alpine tent, it is lighter and can take into account spring, summer, autumn and winter. Generally, these products have double-layer large doors. The first layer is made of mesh cloth for three-season ventilation, and the first layer is breathable cloth to keep warm in winter. This structure is the biggest feature of the four-season tent.

Three season tent

Designed for spring, summer and autumn, it is the leading product occupying the global tent market. Because the three-season tents occupy the main camping season for ordinary consumers, it is also one of the reasons for the richest product lines of major brands. In the southern part of our country, a good three-season tent can even meet the basic camping needs of a basic mountain friend for a year. This kind of functional tent is mainly to make a fuss about its ventilation. In southern areas, especially when camping at night, the human body will release a lot of heat and breathing gas. In the rainy weather, the atmospheric pressure is very low. When the gas released by the human body encounters the temperature difference of the external tent, it will form a conditional reflection, forming condensed water attached to the external tent. In this way, the space circulation of the external account is very important.

The fabric of the external account is above 1500MM hydrostatic pressure, and the higher the waterproof coefficient, the better. Because most of the three quarter tents use PU waterproof coating technology, with use, aging and natural decomposition, the hydrostatic pressure of the PU coating will decrease. In the current European and American markets, in order to save costs as much as possible, more and more three-season tents are now designed as an all-net-style internal account. If the tent does not have ventilation windows, the height of the tent must be a certain distance from the ground, otherwise it will be airtight.
