How to use the drill correctly?

Drill is a commonly used power tool,mainly used to make holes or pierce through objects.If you don't use the drill correctly, you may hurt others or yourself. So what should you pay attention to when using the drill correctly?

1. Check before use：Before using the drill, it should be idle for 0.5 to 1 second after turning on the switch. Check whether the transmission part is flexible, whether there is abnormal noise, whether the screws are loose, and whether the commutator sparks are normal.

2. The control method should be correct: hold both hands tightly when drilling holes, try not to operate with one hand.

3. Choose the right drill bit: you can’t use a notched drill bit for the drill bit. Do not press too much downward force when drilling to prevent the drill bit from breaking.

4. The drilling force should be moderate: when drilling the object, the drilling force should not be too strong , so as to prevent the drill bit from flying out and hurting people.

5. Troubleshooting in time: If there is a large spark on the commutator or the drill is overheated during the use of the drill, it must be stopped and checked, such as removing the dirt, replacing the worn brush, and adjusting the spring pressure of the brush holder.
